Gartner featured CBOT among the leading chatbot and virtual assistant companies globally
CBOT has been one of the 16 leading global chatbot and virtual assistant companies in Gartner’s report “Emerging Technologies and Trends Impact Radar: Artificial Intelligence in Banking and Investment Services” published on July 1, 2020.
The report aims to inform decision-makers in the banking and investment services sectors about the artificial intelligence usage and the effects of these technologies on the industry and to enlighten them while making decisions about these topics.
According to the report,
- Chatbots, virtual assistants and natural language processing (NLP) technology offer real value in terms of increasing operational efficiency and improving customer experience in banking and investment services.
- Machine learning is the most used subfield of AI in banking and investment services which has implementation potential both in the front line and back office. Risk management offers prominent use cases for machine learning.
- Currently, robotic process automation (RPA) is mostly used in back office applications, but it also has a potential to improve customer experience and services.
The report examines 5 key AI technology and software areas: chatbots, virtual assistants, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), robotic process automation (RPA). It outlines the magnitude of the expected impact of these 5 areas on these sectors and when this impact will occur.
